Active ingredients
Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate. Mild vegetable origin surfactant derived from Coconut oil.
Cetearyl alcohol. Fatty alcohol either naturally derived (coconut) or made synthetically. Emollient emulsifier, it enhances the foaming capacity of a cleanser. According to the U.S. FDA, cosmetic products labeled “alcohol free” are allowed to contain cetearyl alcohol, because the effects do not pose a risk of damaging or sensitizing your skin.
Lauryl glucoside. Mild surfactant that enhances cleansing, foaming and emulsifying properties of skincare and haircare products. Naturally derived from Coconut.
Aloe barbadensis leaf extract. Extract containing leaves of the Aloe vera plant. It has similar moisturizing, emollient and anti-inflammatory properties as the juice itself.
Mango seed butter (Mangifera indica). Natural emollient derived from the mango tree rich in fatty acids and triglycerides.
Kokoa seed butter (Theobroma cacao). Oil extracted from cocoa beans, used as an emollient and with properties similar to those of other non-fragrant plant oils. cocoa butter is a rich source of antioxidant polyphenols.
Avocado oil (Persea gratissima). Highly moisturizing, avocado oil is rich in omega 9 fatty acids which nourish, soften and hydrate the skin along with vitamins a, b, d and e. it is naturally antimicrobial and is a natural anti-inflammatory.
Shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii). Plant lipid extracted from the Shea Tree used as an emollient. Rich in antioxidants (quercetin, gallocatechin and epigallocatechin as well as skin-replenishing fatty acids (stearic and linoleic).
Rosehip seed oil (Rosa moschata). Nourishing and moisturizing oil loaded with fatty acids (linoleic acid – 44%, linolenic acid – 34% and oleic acid – 14%). The main bioactive component of the oil, aka tretinoin has restoring and regenerating properties, reduces wrinkles, helps acne and pore size refiner. Encapsulated in vegetable origin liposomes which enhance its penetration and effectiveness.
Damask rose oil (Rosa damascena). Masking, tonic.
Olive fruit oil (Olea europaea).
Glycerin. Organic compound present in vegetable fat. Moisturizer.
Caprylyl glycol. Skin and hair conditioning agent (plant derived from coconut or synthetic. Humectant. It can also help boost the preservative blend in formulations due to its antibacterial properties.
Tocopherol (vitamin E). Fat-soluble antioxidant in our skin. Provides significant photoprotection against UVB rays. Vit C + Vit E work in synergy and provide great photoprotection. It has emollient properties
Citric acid. Citric acid is an extract derived from citrus fruits and is used primarily in small amounts as a pH adjuster.
Illite. Also known as “pink clay”. thickener.
Kaolin. Also known as “white clay”, it has high mineral content, hydrating, matting and natural absorbency properties and is rich in natural minerals of silica, iron, magnesium, and calcium.
Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia). Natural fragrance.
