Active ingredients
Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate. Mild vegetable origin surfactant derived from Coconut oil.
Cetearyl alcohol. Fatty alcohol either naturally derived (coconut) or made synthetically. Emollient emulsifier, it enhances the foaming capacity of a cleanser. According to the U.S. FDA, cosmetic products labeled “alcohol free” are allowed to contain cetearyl alcohol, because the effects do not pose a risk of damaging or sensitizing your skin.
Lauryl glucoside. Mild surfactant that enhances cleansing, foaming and emulsifying properties of skincare and haircare products. Naturally derived from Coconut.
Jojoba seed oil (Simmondsia chinensis). Extracted from plant´s seed, jojoba oil has a texture similar to skin sebum providing restoring and emollient properties.
Rosemary essential oil (Rosmarinus officinalis leaf oil). Antioxidant (contains caffeic acid, carnosil and carnosic acids). Also helps reinforcing cosmetic preservative formulation.
Yerba mate leaf extract (Ilex paraguariensis). Plant ingredient used in the preparation of the most popular tea-like beverage in South America. It has skin-soothing and antioxidant properties.
Green tea leaf extract (Camellia sinensis) . Polyphenols in green tea possess potent antioxidant and skin-soothing properties, and show significant promise for improving the appearance of sun-damaged skin.
Willow bark extract (Salix alba). Skin soothing benefits. It contains salicin (substance that can be converted into salicylic acid in the presence of certain enzymes). This substance has antiaging properties due to its content in polyphenols and flavonoids that contribute to its antioxidant effect.
Tocopherol (Vitamin E pure). Tocopherol acetate is one of many types of vitamin E. Fat-soluble antioxidant, it defends skin from pollution and other environmental stressors that lead to signs of aging. Provides significant photoprotection against UVB rays. Vit C + Vit E work in synergy and provide great photoprotection.
African Moringa Ben tree (Moringa oleifera) Big white-flowered tree native to India. Its seed contains a yellow oil rich in nourishing and moisturizing oleic fatty acid (75%) and also contains behenic acid (up to 8%).
Algae powder (Spirulina maxima). Moisturizing, antiwrinkle, antiaging and antiacne agent.
Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca alternifolia). One of the best-known essential oils which comes from Australia where it has been used for almost 100 years for its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory actions. Antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal effects. anti-acne ingredient.
Mentha piperita oil. The essential oil coming from steam distillation of freshly harvested, flowering peppermint sprigs. Its major component is menthol that gives the oil its well-known refreshing and cooling properties.
Citrus Limon Peel Oil. Essential oil obtained from lemon´s peel. Perfuming, antiseptic and clarifying.
Citric acid. Citric acid is an extract derived from citrus fruits and is used primarily in small amounts as a pH adjuster.
Illite. Also known as “pink clay”. thickener.
Capryl glycol. Skin and hair conditioning agent (plant derived from coconut or synthetic. Humectant. It can also help boost the preservative blend in formulations due to its antibacterial properties.
